Playing with colour and nail art

I'm exploring the beauty of nail art. I want to add some nail art design on my men's jewellery that im busy working on for platinum. As was undecided with my jewellery piece, know I decided to make a brooch. On the brooch, I used marquis shape and stiletto nail shape. I'm designing for Somizi and he likes fashion. He is a drama king in Mzansi. I want to add colour to the brooch that I'm working on because I like to show the beauty of colour. My aim is to make my jeweller piece look more dramatic and I also want to add nail art crystals to show bling-bling. As im designing for Somizi he likes diamond, by using crystals it will look suitable for him
Fig1. I used gel nail polish on the square nail shape and I added holographic pigment. I want to add colour on my actual brooch but I want to add holographic pigment so that you can't see exactly colour that is underneath on platinum.

In the picture below, I just pin up all the nails colour on my greyboard in front of my branch. I was trying to figure out which colour I'll be using on my jewellery piece. As was busy looking at the colours, I noticed that the first two colours which are green and azure blue with the pigment look more clear and they bland. The other colours which are purple, cyan blue, aqua green, baby pink, rose red and sweet pink, they don't look nice with holographic they all looking light.

Fig3. This is a nail foil transfer that I used for nail art design. What I like about this nail art it looks metallic.

Fig4. This is a prototype that I made. I used aqua blue colour and holographic pigment because I don't want a blue colour to overpower the colour of the metal that I'll be using.
